  1. Hi Does anyone know how to hide page titles in thematic?
    I'm editing the actual thematic template as haven't yet got to grips with creating my own child theme.

    Thanks

    Judi - you REALLY don't want to edit the actual thematic template.
    Child themes are very easy to work with and will save you hours of tears and sweat when it's time to upgrade.

    believe me -I learn everything the hard way.

    in your child theme you can hide the page titles with

    .entry-title {
    display:none;}

  4. Thanks so much Amy,
    I know what you mean, but I've already built the site now anyway.
    In future I will build child themes instead.

    just be sure to keep a copy of your files somewhere safe - that way if you accidentally auto update your theme (which will make all your custom work disappear) you'll have a copy.

    (It would actually be very easy to take the theme you just built and turn it into a child theme)

    As far as the page titles - is just looked at your site (looks nice!) this should work:

    h1.page-title {
    display:none;}

    or
