    I'm using a couple of menus dropped in several sidebars.

    // Register the new menus
    function register_my_menus() {
    'primary-menu' => __( 'Main Menu' ),
    'second-menu' => __( 'Individual Menu' ),
    'third-menu' => __( 'Institutional Menu' ),
    'forth-menu' => __( 'Footer Menu' ),
    'fifth-menu' => __( 'Site Map' )
    add_action( 'init', 'register_my_menus' );

    The html code I get is:
    (so there s NO superfish class added...)

    '<div id="menu_widget">

    • <div class="menu-individual-container">
      <ul class="menu" id="menu-individual">
      <li class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom menu-item-170" id="menu-item-170">client log in
    • <li class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom current-menu-ancestor current-menu-parent menu-item-136" id="menu-item-136">advising individuals
      <ul class="sub-menu">
      <li class="menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-24" id="menu-item-24">Welcome
      <li class="menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-26" id="menu-item-26">How We Work With Clients
      <li class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom current-menu-item current-menu-ancestor current-menu-parent menu-item-177" id="menu-item-177">How We Manage Wealth
      <ul class="sub-menu">
      <li class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom current-menu-item menu-item-178" id="menu-item-178">Philosophy
      <li class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom menu-item-183" id="menu-item-183">Portfolio Construction
      <li class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom menu-item-191" id="menu-item-191">Rigorous Due Diligence

    Please advice.
    Thanks in advance

    Usually you can add the superfish class when you are calling wp_nav_menu to display your menu in your theme. But it looks like you are displaying your menu in a widget, and I don't know if you can add a css class to a widget through functions.php. Take a look at instead and see if it will meet your needs.
