Posts not showing

    On my post page, I set the number of posts to be displayed to 5 per page (under Settings -> Reading) but only the most recent 2 are displayed.

    When I click the "older posts" button 5 older posts are displayed correctly so I does not know why it is not working the first time.

    Is there any other setting I need to take care of?

    I just realized some dummy posts I created using a plug in do not have any post date stored. This is probably why there are not showing.
