  1. Hi all,

    After upgrading to WordPress 2.8.4 I have a new problem with the Google Analytics plugin. (I also mentioned this in another thread at: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/293054, but I now think that this forum may be the best place to post.)

    At the Google Analytic page, I get either a page error message, or the yellow exclamation point indicating that the code is not installed properly.

    I have read the posts at: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/233790 but this doesn't seem to solve the problem.

    My footer.php ends like this:
    <?php wp_footer(); ?>

    <?php thematic_after(); ?>
    </body>
    </html>
    which should be ok, right?

    My site: www.pr-roman.dk.

    Any feedback would be much appreciated.

  2. Hi Lasse,

    footer.php is perfect.

    I have no idea what's causing that problem. Looking into the source view of your site the google analytics code is created by the plugin.

    Have you checked the trackingcode in the plugin against the one on your Google Analytics page?

  3. Thanks, Chris.

    I've located the tracking code on my Google Analytics page, but I'm not 100% sure in which file to find the matching code created by the plugin. Could you point me in the right direction?

    Regards,
    Lasse

  4. Try righ-click / source view or Ctrl-U (Firefox) .. the trackercode should be at the end of the html code.

  5. Ok, I've toyed around a bit, and it now seems to be working, although I don't know exactly what did the trick.

    Thanks a lot.
