Problem with Thematic/Gallery in IE8

  1. Hi there folks!
    Im trying to use the child theme Gallery, but IE8 hide the botton part of it.
    Firefox and Chrome works well.

    Firefox and Chrome:

    can someone help me? ( i have already fix other problems with the search bar in IE8, but this one is not working =( )

    In IE8 i cant see the botton page (Bookmark, Tweet this,link, next, prev). i was all day on it, but nothing, lol.

  4. this doesn't help you much but your site looks identical in IE8 and FF for me. i'm on a pc by the way.

  5. i'm on win7 and IE8 shows the links for me. I cranked up a vista VM and same result.

  6. damn, so is my machine! win 7 64 bits, so strange, coz if is my Ie8 that means more pages will have the same problem... but is everything ok o.o

  7. hey i found the problem :D

    was this line:
    .ie6 .entry-content {
    height:160 px
    }

    now i can see the page with no problem in ie8 :D

  8. Rather then doing ie hacks you could do something like this to add ie specific style sheets.
    function add_to_head(){
    ?>

    <link href="<?php echo get_stylesheet_directory_uri(); ?>/library/styles/ie7.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

    <!--[if IE 6]>
