  1. I'm having two problems with Thematic, one problem only occurs in Safari (3.2.2) the other problem in both Safari and Chrome (1.0.154.48)

    1. Drop Down Menus in Safari do not work correctly. As soon as you try and scroll down a drop down menu, the Menu will disappear.

    2. Thumbnail creation from NextGen Gallery in Safari and Chrome is not working correctly. The Thumbnails are getting squeezed horizontally. Refreshing the page doesn't seem to help, however if you repeatedly navigate to the same page usually on the 2nd or 3rd try the thumbnails will mysteriously start appearing correctly.

You can see what I'm working on here:

  2. Hey,

could you please try to remove the element.style {width:25%}? This is the only major difference compared to my gallery displaying in all three browsers.

Need to check the DropDown Menu.

    Cheers,

  3. Could you please edit thematic\library\scripts\thematic-dropdowns.js and change delay from 100 to 500?! This will fix your problems with Safari.

  4. Thanks a lot Chris, Bumping up the delay definitely helped with Safari, its still a little touchy, but at least workable now.

Where would I change the width:25%?

I'm guessing this setting is getting made because I have NextGen Gallery set to 4 Thumbnails per column.

Are you using NextGen Gallery and the latest version of Thematic? Can I get a link to your site?

Thanks again for offering assistance. Its greatly appreciated!

  5. At the moment I have no idea where the width is coming from. I already switched the NextGEN CSS to the default one .. will do some more test on my local machine.

Yes .. I'm using the latest and greatest version for both.

Here's the link to my gallery: Mai 2003 - Berlin

It seems like if you replace .ngg-gallery-thumbnail img and .ngg-gallery-thumbnail img:hover ->
    .ngg-gallery-thumbnail a and .ngg-gallery-thumbnail a:hover it works.

May you also have to change some settings in images.css and style.css where the img in entry-content is defined.

  9. Hi Chris

I'm using nextgen on this site:

As you can see when you click on the thumbnails basically the lightbox element doesn't work. Any ideas why please?

    Thanks

    Rich

  10. Hey Rich,

install the lightbox-2 plugin .. then it'll work.
