  1. Hi All,
I understand that 2.7 will allow you to override the template files by just placing modified template files in your child theme folder. So if I create a header.php or sidebar.php and place it in my child theme directory it will automatically override the parent theme's sidebar.php and header.php? And if I create a non-standard template like home-sidebar.php in my child theme folder I will have to activate the page template via the write>>pages admin panel? Now let's say you update thematic, you will have to also manually update the template files in your child theme right? I think I know the answer to these but I want to be sure.

    Cheers,
    Anthony

    Yep.

    Sort of.

    Probably not. It depends.
