  2. I may be a little confused. I am just amusing you mean the text on a menu.

    li { text-align: right; }

    I think the only thing that would hang you up with this is if you tried to apply it to the 'a' element, but the 'a' element wasn't set to block which would cause the link not to fill up the whole list item.

  3. You're not the confused one :)

    You'd think, right?

    I tried adding text-align: right; to all the li's I could find but no go.

  4. i think you are confusing yourself w/ a bunch of extra floats and left/right 50%. here are some changes i made (well changes made more in the sense of what i removed... might be hard to see)

    #access {
    z-index: 100;
    }

    #access .menu #menu-main-menu {
    position: relative;
    float: left;
    margin: 0;
    text-align: right;
    }

    #access .menu #menu-main-menu li {
    float: none; /*if you don't float LIs they auto stack up vertically*/
    position: relative;
    margin: 0;
    }

    it might also be easier to move access out of where you moved it. inside #container wouldn't have been my first choice.
