    I want to be able to call attention to a link for one specific child page in a dropdown menu. Normally I think I'd just add a class or a span or somesuch to it (I'm no CSS master but I muddle through) but I'm at a loss on how to do it within Thematic.
    For example: I have a page for "Departments" and several child pages for "Sub-departments" and I want to have a "New items" page with a bright red background that'll make it stand out from the crowd.
    Oh please, oh please?

  2. Hi burgundydurango,

    You should be able to easily target any list-item in the main navigation with a specific css class.
    Look at the source code of your page and look for the list-item you want to target. There will be a unique class based on the id of the page.

    For example: if the page id = 97 then the class assigned to the list-item would be page-item-97
    and so adding .page-item-97 { background:red; } would do the trick.

    Thanks for getting me pointed in the right direction Gene!

    Here's what finally worked for me:

    .sf-menu .page-item-547 a { background: red; }

    That might've taken me forever without your help. :)
