    Hello all,

I would like to add a slideshow with the following credentials (if it exists!):

*IE 6 + and modern Browser compatible (FF, Chrome, Safari, etc)
*I can integrate this as part of my loop and add slides with each post creation
*W3C validates as XHTML 1.0 Transitional

I've tried NivoSlider but understand that this isn't IE6 compatible? I've then used s3slider but this wouldn't validate as W3C valid and doesn't include hover over options to navigate forward / back images, any advice if there's a slideshow out there that works with thematic and meets the desirable criteria? If anyone has any thoughts and links to tutorials (I can normally work these out!) :)

  2. i wouldn't worry about supporting a 10 year old browser. perso, i don't bother w/ ie6 as i believe even google and facebook have dropped support of that POS. it's market share is really low these days and every time someone surfs the web w/ it a fairy loses its wings. sad.

what about jquery cycle? idk if it means your reqs, but it is a very common one.

Just to add my bit :)

Thematic works well also with -

    1. Piecemaker2 (which is so similar to Cu3er) and available on wordpress here

    2. Creative clans slideshow - an average slideshow but works perfectly each time.

    3. And ofcourse, NIVO.

One that has worked extremely well for me is:

I particularly like it for it's lack of preloading. Makes it great for large image galleries and limited bandwidth clients.

You can see how I used it (before I discovered Thematic) @
