  1. I'm trying to add a note above the comments form on my site and nothing shows up. Using the function below.

    The odd thing is, if I replace thematic_abovecommentsform with say, thematic_abovefooter, the text will show up.

    What am I missing here?

    // Add note above commentsform
    function child_abovecommentform() { ?>
    	<!-- note starts -->
    	<p>text would be here</p>
    	<!-- note ends -->
    <?php }
    add_action('thematic_abovecommentsform','child_abovecommentform');

  2. just tried it myself using Thematic 0.9.7.8

    no, it doesn't seem to work.
    'thematic_abovecomments' works fine
    no luck with 'thematic_abovecommentsform'

  3. Thanks for trying it. Good to know I am not crazy. I was starting to wonder.

  4. That hook is dependent upon a constant being defined. Add this to your functions.php and that hook will be functional.

    define('THEMATIC_COMPATIBLE_COMMENT_FORM', true);

  5. Ah, ok. Is this documented elsewhere? I had no idea and would like to read up...

    Something slightly weird seems to be happening for me. I can get thematic_abovecommentsform() to work providing I *don't* set --

    define('THEMATIC_COMPATIBLE_COMMENT_FORM', true);

    (or set it, but set it to false). Using latest Thematic from SVN.

    Same with the other action hook within .formcontainer (thematic_belowcommentsform).
