    Hi Ian and the others,

    first I wanna say thanks for this wonderfull framework! I'm just working to establish my first wordpress-blog with this theme and it's great.

    But there are some Problems I can not solve, that are rising with the internet explorer ( firefox works well).
    Here is the link to the page with colored borders to see the problems: www.schreibermag.de.

    What you see is:
    1. The red bordered container is not visible in internet explorer (I added a new container to index & co to make a grey line between content and sidebars
    2. After the posts the ie shows an -->, which is probably caused by an "exclude-comment" in the functions.php, but I don't find the problem
    3. The homelink is somewhat crashing the design in ie, because it is double high compared to the other links.

    The other problems I think I can solve by myself, but with this three problems, I would be very happy for a hint.

    Thanks in advance
    Sebastian

    Hi there,
    I have solved the third-problem with the home-link and want to let you know:
    In the functions.php-code for the home-link is missing an closing /a -tag in the line with the "home"-link. So the right code seems to be:

    // Adds Home link to navgation
    function sample_menu() {
    $menu = '<div id="menu">

      ';
      if ( is_home() ) {
      $menu .= '<li class="current_page_item"><a href="';
      }
      else {
      $menu .= '
    • <a href="';
      }
      $menu .= get_option('home') . '/" title="Home">Home
    • ';
      $menu .= str_replace( array( "\r", "\n", "\t" ), '', wp_list_pages('title_li=&sort_column=menu_order&echo=0') );
      $menu .= "
    </div>\n";
    echo $menu;
    }
    add_filter('sandbox_menu', 'sample_menu' );

    Hi there,

    I got a solution for all problems. To let you know, if you have similar bugs:

    1. The missing Div-Box in the Internet Explorer was caused by too many comments (with ü and ä und ö) in the style-sheet. So clean up your Style-Sheet at first.
    2. The Comment-Sign (-->) under the posts in the Internet Explorer was caused by the integrated comments in the hooks and filters php. I erased them.
    3. About the home-link I allready wrote above, that there was missing a closing /a.

    Would be nice to become a feedback for my theme-child-style. Does it look ok in your eyes?

  4. I think it looks really good! There's a few things I'd clean up in the header and I'd reduce the overall width but still, it's really nice.

    Hi Ian, thanks a lot, I spend a lot of time on it :-) Your frametheme is fantastic, a bit hard for beginners like me, but I learned a lot with it.

    Actually I'm searching for a possibility to exclude categories in the side-bar-widget (probably in the widget.php), I will post the solution, when I got it :-)
    Greetings
