  1. When I paste the code example from the "WordPress Menu Tricks" post (to show page subtitles with the menu links) into my child theme functions file, the menu loses its horizontal formatting and reverts to a vertical bullet list.

Is there a particular trick to making this work with the default Thematic 0.9 menu?

  2. Just change the <ul> tag to <ul class="sf-menu">.

I know this post says resolved, but I still have an issue with trying to make this work.

When I edit the UL tag as above, all of the dropdown functionality stops working. It fixes the original formatting issues as elshaddai had, but anything that has a dropdown stops working. Any suggestions?

  5. Hey,

as far as I understood the SQL query it only collects the top level pages p.post_parent = 0.

    Cheers,

Thanks Chris, yes that is exactly the problem.

Thematic, OTOH, as far as I can tell, uses wp_page_list() to query the top level pages then builds the drop downs. But, I have no clue how to merge the results of the sub title query with the results of the wp_page_list() query. Any ideas? Thanks.
