  1. I get this error message if i try to change the Footertext in the Thematic Options:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/www/kunden/lahnstein-ultras.de/wordpress/wp-content/themes/forcemin/functions.php:204) in /home/www/kunden/lahnstein-ultras.de/wordpress/wp-content/themes/thematic/library/extensions/theme-options.php on line 50

    Any Ideas?

    P.S.: My functions.php don't have 204 lines !?!?!

  3. :-) .. was already searching for browser bugs because line 49 is the header function.

Again a prove that functions.php may not have any blanks, empty lines or any other type of characters behind the last closing ?> !!

    Cheers,

  4. Hi,

There is an interesting PHP coding best practice which aims to avoid this kind of problem: simply omit the PHP closing tag ?> at the EOF (End Of File).
From the Zend Framework PHP Coding Standard:
For files that contain only PHP code, the closing tag ("?>") is to be omitted. It is not required by PHP, and omitting it prevents trailing whitespace from being accidentally injected into the output..

I'm actually quite surprised that Wordpress doesn't enforce this practice. Maybe we should kick things of here in Thematic?
