  1. After looking through the source code and fidgeting with the style doc, I still can't figure out how to change the background color for the categories menu on the front page of the Thematic Power Blog theme. Ideally, I would like the 'bar' that spans the page to be a different color than the "wrapper" background. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

  2. Hey Javier,

take a look at: Help with CSS Styles for Drop Down Menus in Thematic 0.9.

If you only want to change the category menu you must duplicate the entries and prepend #category-access.

Let me know if you need more help.

  3. Sorry .. you meant the background behind the whole category menu. Need to check this.

  4. It's #category-access {background: whatever color}.

  5. Thanks, Chris. The topic you linked to pretty much answered all my questions regarding the category menu. But now I'm trying to figure out how to stylize the Pages menu above it (Home, About, etc.) -- for the Thematic Power Blog theme.

I thought that if I styled "sf-menu" etc. alone (without prepending #category-access), the styles would apply to the other menu, the Pages menu -- but that's obviously not working. Is there a DIV id for the pages menu? (I can't find it in the source code.) Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

  6. Javier, try to use FireFox with the addon FireBug. It gives you the ability to check everything on the fly.

Prepend #access to style the main menu.

    Cheers,
