  1. Hi to everyone,
    I am building a blog with this framework, and i'm disabling comments.
    I have cut off php comments_template(); in several pages but i don't know how to disable "leave a comment" in postfooter.
    I've found thematic_postfooter but if i cut off this string i leave all the entry utilities.
    Anybody can help me?
    Tank u and excuse me for my non proper english, i'm italian.

  2. Check out Custom WordPress Hooks and Filters in Thematic 0.6 for examples on how to filter that function. Just don't include the link to the comments in your custom post footer.

    Hey Ian,

    I too want to make some changes to the area below my blog posts. Specifically, I want to remove the 'Posted in (category)', 'Bookmark the Permalink', 'Trackback URL' sections. I only want to keep the 'Leave a Comment' part.

    I have spent 2 hrs fudging with my functions.php using the code from your 'Hooks and Filters' blog post, but I am not able to achieve the desired outcome.

    This is what I have in my functions.php file -

    // load jQuery

    // Path constants
    define('THEMELIB', TEMPLATEPATH . '/library');

    // Create Theme Options Page
    require_once(THEMELIB . '/functions/theme-options.php');

    // Get the page number
    require_once(THEMELIB . '/functions/page-numbers.php');

    // Load widgets
    require_once(THEMELIB . '/functions/widgets.php');

    // Load custom theme hooks and filters
    require_once(THEMELIB . '/functions/hooks-filters.php');

    // Add Dynamic Contextual Semantic Classes
    require_once(THEMELIB . '/functions/sandbox-functions.php');

    // Produces an avatar image with the hCard-compliant photo class for author info
    require_once(THEMELIB . '/functions/author-info-avatar.php');

    // Translate, if applicable

    // Remove the WordPress Generator via
    function thematic_remove_generators() { return ''; }

    What changes do I have to make to it to get the desired outcome?

    Thank You for all your help,

  7. knightinblue, can you post your functions.php file so I can see how you did this? I would like to do the same thing.
