  1. Hi, if you look at you'll see that all the thumbnails in my gallery theme have got bunched up, and are not displaying the post name properly either. How do I change this please?

    Also a few other questions:

    How do I change the 'Gallery' logo at the top of the page to my own picture?
    How can I integrate thumbnail adverts on the front page?

  4. It looks like the body classes are not displaying correctly on your home page. Your says:

    <body class="home-page">

    When it should have something more like this:

    <body class="wordpress y2010 m08 d31 h15 home blog not-singular loggedin mac firefox ff3">

    The gallery styles target the class:

    So, you need to make that class appear on your body tag for the home page. It should be there by default, so perhaps try reinstalling both themes.

  5. ok... have reinstalled theme but still no change.

    Where do I find the file to fix this?

  6. magic...I found it in header.php!

    Great theme by the way, if the designer lurks on these forums. Thank you.

  7. ok.... one last question. Why had my 'about' page now done this?!

    Posted 12 years ago #
  8. and also why are only 10 thumbnails appearing on the front page?

  9. By default, only 10 posts appear on your index page. You can generally change that in the "Reading" options of WordPress under "Settings".

    Not sure why the "About" page does that. I'd look at the page.php template.

  10. The about page is generating some funky body classes. When I firebugged it, I got the following:

    <body class="wordpress y m d h home blog not-singular loggedin mac firefox ff3">

    Looks like the about page thinks it's your index in terms of dynamic body classes. I'm not super-familiar with Gallery so I don't know what would cause that to happen— though I wonder if maybe the form input which allows multiple post submissions might contribute. Debugging is not one of my strong suits, and like I said, this is only a faintest hunch. Devin is probably far far more useful from here on out.

  11. Here's the stuff on page.php

    // calling the header.php

    // action hook for placing content above #container

    <div id="container">
    <div id="content">

    // calling the widget area 'page-top'

    <div id="post-<?php the_ID(); ?>" class="<?php thematic_post_class() ?>">

    // creating the post header

    <div class="entry-content">

    wp_link_pages("\t\t\t\t\t<div class='page-link'>".__('Pages: ', 'thematic'), "</div>\n", 'number');

    edit_post_link(__('Edit', 'thematic'),'<span class="edit-link">','</span>') ?>

    </div><!-- .post -->

    if ( get_post_custom_values('comments') )
    thematic_comments_template(); // Add a key/value of "comments" to enable comments on pages!

    // calling the widget area 'page-bottom'

    </div><!-- #content -->
    </div><!-- #container -->

    // action hook for placing content below #container

    // calling the standard sidebar

    // calling footer.php

    Any thoughts??
