  1. I'm trying what seemed like a simple thing: Target the #second div within #subsidiary so that I can alter it's width. however, nothing seems to work. I've applied styles directly to #second{}, I've tried #second .aside{}, I've tried #second .sub-aside{}. None of this will override the thematic style applied to #subsidiary .aside {width:300px}.

    What am I missing here?

  2. Try...

    #subsidiary #second {
    width: 100px;

  3. D'oh!

    I stopped at #subsidiary #second .aside{} but didn't try it without the .aside class. Thanks Chris!

  4. :)

    CSS I have a decent handle on, it is the php stuff that makes my head spin!
    Care to reciprocate on a problem I'm having with wp_list_pages?
