    Hi everyone,

    great to have joined the thematic community!

    I've just installed Thematic and the Commune child theme. After importing a basic style through:

    @import url('../thematic/library/layouts/3c-fixed.css');

    the lay-out looked rather messed up: http://ojas.kamst.com/

    Any suggestions on how to fix that? I am sure that it was not meant that way (or was it?)

    Thanks in advance

  2. I think the site is built for a two column layout so you might be out of luck unless you want to style the 3 column layout yourself

    Thanks Jagst3r15 for your quick answer. I did just that and it works ok. I made the changes in the style.css file which I hope is the right way to do it. I do find it kinda strange though because the developer did include extra css-files in the layout subfolder just for this purpose.

  4. nvm I don't think he did. I downloaded the theme and only see one style being imported from the default thematic library

  5. what's messy about it? it looks fine w/ the exception of the search widget jutting out which can be fixed with

    #s {
    max-width: 100%;
    }

    Hi Helga,

    yeah I worked on the css file to clean up the 3c commune theme. In the meantime I changed to the somewhat stripped samplechildtheme though because the website owner is going to provide all the raw material of which to build the design on from scratch. Thanks for your answer!
