  1. First off the link: http://ads-rantum.de/_neu

    Okay, this is not really a real deadline as this is voluntary work for a foundation, but anyhow, I have to get this stuff fixed to show it to the “boss” and I can’t think straight anymore. Bet it’s easy for some in here.

    Problem 1)
    How do I get the categories (named “Extras”) right-aligned with the searchform below it?

    Problem 2)
    How do I get the ugly logo (which is bloody unfortunately to position due to its odd shape) right next to the photo (with a padding of 35px between them)?

    Current searchform in functions.php

    // Adds a search form to the header
    function childtheme_searchform() {
        get_search_form();
    }
    add_action('thematic_header','childtheme_searchform',7);

    Current categories in style.css

    #category-access {
        height:32px;
        font-size:13px;
        padding:11px 0 0 0;
        overflow:visible;
        z-index:150;
    }
    .menu-title {
        color:#CCC;
        float:left;
        font-style:italic;
        line-height:32px;
        border:1px solid transparent;
    }
    #category-access {
    	padding-bottom:10px;
        border-bottom:1px solid #e3e3e3;

    }
    #category-access ul {
    	float: right;
    }
    #category-access .sf-menu {
        border-color:transparent;
    }
    #category-access .sf-menu a {
        border:1px solid transparent;
        margin-left:10px;
    	padding:9px 10px;
    }
    #category-access .sf-menu li, #category-access .sf-menu li a {
        color:#d2d2d2;
        background:#fff;
    	 outline:0;
        border-color:#e3e3e3;
    }
    #category-access .sf-menu li:hover, #category-access .sf-menu li:hover a,
    #category-access .sf-menu li.sfHover, #category-access .sf-menu li.sfHover a,
    #category-access .sf-menu a:focus, #category-access .sf-menu a:hover {
        color:#999;
        background:#fff;
        outline:0;
        border-color:#CCC;
    }
    #category-access .sf-menu ul a {
        background:#fff;
        border-color:#ccc;
        border-right:none;
    	border-bottom:none;
    	margin-right:0;
    }
    #category-access .sf-menu li.current-cat a {
    	background: #CCC;
    	color: #FFF;
    }

    Current searchform in style.css

    #branding #searchform {
        position:absolute;
        top:84px;
        right:20px;
    }
    #branding #searchform label {
        display:none;
    }
    #branding #searchform input {
        font-size:13px;
        line-height:18px;
    }
    #branding #searchform input#s {
        color: #ccc;
        width:256px;
    }
    #branding #searchform input#s:focus {

        width:316px;
    }
    #branding #searchform input#searchsubmit {
        display:none;
    }

    Current logo in style.css

    #header {
        background:transparent url(images/ADS.png) 750px 128px no-repeat;
    }

    Sorry for the lazyweb approach. — And if you have an aesthetically pleasing idea where to put that godforsaken logo then I am all ears as well! :D

  2. Forget about question 1 (got an other idea for it), only the logo needs to be styled now. :)
