I've been reading over the wonderful new changes to Thematic... will upgrading from 0.81 to 0.9 change the way Acamas appears on my site?

I can't remember what all the specific changes i have made in the past are... so i worry if i upgrade, it will mess things up :(

    Hi! Thanks for the reply.

I have a feeling i changed both. Only small changes, i think, for eg: like in Thematic i think i changed the code so i could remove the blog title & replace it with a banner. More changes in Acamas, i think, than Thematic, but i can't remember! That's bad of me, not very smart... oops.

I was worried something like the new menu in Thematic may cause a hiccup with my site because i had a feeling i changed the menu a bit... embarrassingly, i can't remember all the changes i made. Oops. If i upgrade, and it does, could i easily go back to 0.81 until i locate all the changes i'd made? Would it just be a matter of overwriting files?

  4. Hey,

not good .. just kidding .. shouldn't be a major problem.

Download DiffMerge. It has a section 'Folder Diff' .. comparing Thematic 0.81 original against your version and Acamas original against your version will show the files you have changed, clicking on a file will give you the changes.

Let's start with Thematic first, please tell me which files you've changed. If it isn't a complete rewrite I'm able to help you.

    Cheers,

    Chris
