    Hi folks

    I just ran WP home page (using thematic) through several WCAG v2 and section 508 testers and find it fails on one main thing, the label for attr and the scripting for the input tag of the search bar.

    Not sure if this is thematics code or WP?

    What I currently know about both WP and JS could prob fit into a thimble. a small one. so if anyone can help me out on this one would be great :)

    the validators churn errors thusly

    Cynthia Says:

    Rule: 12.4.1 - Identify all non-hidden INPUT elements that do not have an explicit LABEL association.
    Failure - INPUT Element, of Type TEXT, at Line: 130, Column: 4 in FORM Element at Line: 128, Column: 2

    TotalValidator:

    E651 The value of the 'for' attribute must match the 'id' of a control element in the same form:
    E895 [WCAG v2 1.3.1 (A)] Reference to a missing or incorrect 'id' attribute:
    <label for="s">

    and

    E649 The default scripting language must be specified for an intrinsic event:
    <input id="s" name="s" type="text" value="To search, type and hit enter" onfocus="if (this.value == 'To
    search, type and hit enter') {this.value = '';}" onblur="if (this.value == '') {this.value = 'To search,
    type and hit enter';}" size="32" tabindex="1" />

    Thanks
