    Anyone with Firebug see what it might be? THere's something over there that is wanting to be scrolled to, but I can't for the life of me figure out what it is.

  2. #branding {
    padding: 10px 50px 50px;
    width: 100%; }

    It is your #branding that is causing the issue. The width is 100%, so when you add padding it makes it even bigger than 100% causing the horizontal scroll bar.

    Try moving that padding to the #blog-title instead. You may have to resize some stuff still, but this should get you on track.

  7. I don't think so. If that was the case, wouldn't the header be ok? Both the header and footer are doing it. It's almost as if the 100% value doesn't apply when you scroll horizontally to the right.

  8. Figured it out. An explanation can be found here ...

    Here is my CSS at the moment, problem solved, attention given to the width and min-width:

    #header {
    z-index:2;
    border-top:20px solid #4f4f4f;
    width: 100%;
    min-width: 1225px;
    }

    #footer {
    border-top:0px solid #ccc;
    background:#4f4f4f;
    height: 130px;
    width: 100%;
    min-width: 1225px;
    }
