Widget replaces Links section or Search and pages

  1. If I try to add a widget to either the primary or secondary side, it replaces what is already there, instead of adding it below it.

  2. That's normal widget functioning. Adding a widget to a widget-ready area replaces any default widgets.

  3. That seems fairly counterintuitive. You'd think the dashboard could include some basic instruction regarding that. I figured out the workaround. I added the widgets that had been default in the order I wanted them.

    Is there any way to use a widget more than one place? For instance, I would like the Pages to be in the sidebar and in the footer.
