1. Hey guys,

Just undergoing my first project using thematic and have something I'm stumped on that I want to be able to do with my child theme.

Basically in the horizontal navigation I have my pages, with each page I have added a custom field in the page called "navSting" which is a bit of text that sits under the page link. Where it outputs the link I want to add a with the navSting text in it but I don't know how to alter the output of the menu links list. I need to end up with for example Home Sweet Home.

Anyone know how to do this with a child theme?

    Cheers!

    Leonard

  2. @atomworks: Maybe http://themeshaper.com/wordpress-menu-tricks/ will help. Under Adding Sub-Titles To Menu Links. It sounds like it's exactly what you want to do.

  4. @atomworks: Ian Stewart wrote the article I think, so when you find him in the room... please give him a kiss from me too. :)

Hope we'll get to see your adaptation of the code soon.
