  1. First I need to give a big thank you to Ian for the great development and first class support given to those of us using his themes. Ian, I can't thank you enough for your quick and helpful response you've given me getting introduced to Thematic and Acamas.

I'm currently working with Acamas on my personal blog,

Was wondering if it's possible to make the frontpage come together slightly different. The main goal I have is to show the first 3 stories below Featured story with excerpts, taking the full width of the main section. Following this I want to display the rest of the stories the same way they are now with just the titles, but with the Secondary aside next to them on the right. Basically the Secondary asides would be pushed down below the 3 first stories along with the list of other posts.

I don't know if that makes a lot of sense but I can try and mock up a screen shot to illustrate what I'm trying to do if necessary.

Thanks for any and all help on this.

  2. If you take a look at the functions in functions.php it should give you and idea of how you can insert the next three latest posts. You'll probably want to define Your Own WordPress Loop but excluding the latest feature post. And then filter the standard loop so it's offsetting by 3 posts.

Shoot. That sounds confusing—even to me. Does that make sense?
