  1. Is there a way to move the thematic javascript files to the bottom of the page?

Specifically, I'm wondering about HoverIntent, Superfish, Supersubs, and thematic-dropdowns.

I searched the forums and google, but didn't see anything turn up. Thanks for your help.

  2. Hi rabbitpoets,

It is probably best to run them from the head. One reason being if the page loads slowly for whatever reason, images or other scripts, then the nav wont work properly until the those things load first.

And another being the jquery no conflict script needs to run before scripts from other js libraries to work properly. Many plugins hook js into wp_head, so keeping thematic scripts where they are enables the safety of the no conflict script.

  3. I may be having a problem with the order things are loading in, too. This thread -- http://old.nabble.com/Superfish---Supersubs-not-being-recognized--td26058674s27240.html -- shows someone having the same error as me. Error console is showing:
    jQuery("ul.sf-menu").supersubs is not a function

I'm not getting the long menu items, not getting the autoArrows, not getting the animation effects.

I've tried disabling all the other plugins that are using jQuery, and moved around the order scripts are loaded in, but can't get this one to work. Any suggestions?

  4. @drew: If you disable all jQuery plugins (and also Minify) do you still receive the same error message?
