putting posts in the dropdown menu

Hi all,
I like to put posts in the dropdown menu which is currently set to show pages. Does anyone know if it is possible to change that?

I am making an assumption that you would only want this for a few posts. If so than I would add a page via the sample page function included the functions.php file of the sample child theme, and link it to your post. Or you could create a page with same name as tour post and use the "Page Links To" Plugin to link it to your post.

I use the photoq plugin which works with posts. the amount of posts is substantial, that is why i want to use the dropdown menu. i will look into the page links to plugin and see if this is sufficient.

to be more specific, the dropdown menu needs to contain categories of posts :-)

ah...categories, that's a different story:) I am linking pages to categories using that plugin on a site I'm currently developing.

I'm not sure how it could be done, but it seems that the menu should be able to use categories instead of pages.

Hopefully someone else can chime in here?

Using page-links-to will do the job for the setting up category pages in the menu.
