add comments to sub-pages

Trying to get comments on subpages. Added new custom field on the new page, typed in Comments (no quote marks)under Name. I typed in Your comments are appreciated (no quote marks) in Value box.

The subpage now has Comments and Your comments are appreciated at the bottom of the page but they don't link to a comment box.

Thanks for any input.

.. go to the Dashboard .. Pages .. Edit .. Choose one page that you created .. Scroll down a bit to Custom Fields .. Name and Value = "comments"
